Friends-on-Phones

Smartphones have become the core and center of our lives. It makes live easy and on the go. Lots of businesses are gaining more traction and improving as a result of social media and digital Apps. Different Apps that can help move your business forward and improve your ability are now at your disposal. Smartphones have indeed make the world global village.

However, as good and awesome as these maybe, many lives and families have also been turn apart by smartphone. The simple things of life we used to enjoy before the introduction of smartphones are all gone. Small chats and gist with loved ones and friends, face to face communications and interactions, quality family times have all been replaced by Snap-chat, Face-time, Instablog, Facebook, blogs and vlogs. 1 Million followers on Facebook and Instagram, but no real or genuine friends around. We have a lot of online friends but few actual or real friends.

Have you ever heard the word “nomophobia” the fear of being without a working cell phone, has kept many in bondage, because they believe that there is no life without their cell phones. Lives have been lost and many ruined because of unhealthy use of smartphones. Attention span of many have gone from ten to zero because of phones. Why can’t we just put down the phones, live, breath and pay attention to what is happening around us.

A few things to remember each time you pick up your phone

  1. You don’t need to be available every second of the day.
  2. Use your phone to communicate with people but not to avoid or snob them
  3. A phone is not a companion so don’t use it to substitute
  4. A phone can be a good working tool, so use your phone wisely.

Many are so consumed about capturing the moments that we forget to live the moments

Remember this, your phones are yours you can always come back to it anytime, but th moments you missed can never be regained.
