I am bigger than anything that can happen to me. All these things, sorrow, misfortune, pain, depression and suffering are outside the house. I am inside the house and I have the key, only I can choose either to open the door or keep them outside. — Charles Fletcher Lummis.

Life is all about choices and at every point in time (by the second, by the minute) we all have to make one, the choices we make can either make or mar our destiny but the truth remains, we are a product of the choices we make.  As the saying goes, do your best to make the right choices and when you don’t, do your best to learn from the wrong ones.

Making choices is not always easy, sometimes we make choices, then our choices make us, but ultimately we still have to make one. Serious care need to be taken in making choices especially those that have to do with marriage, finances and family as it will impact not only us but others involved.

So how do you know you are making the right choice? Usually the first step to making the right choice is to be aware of the challenge you are deciding on. The right decision is always a difficult and painful one, so you need to steel your courage to deal with the difficulties that comes with making one. One thing is sure when you make the right choice, you are at peace with yourself, no matter the situation.

Deepak Chopra, the famous Indian – American speaker said “to make the right choice in life, you have to get in touch with your soul. To do this, you have to experience solitude, which many people are afraid of, because in the silence you hear the truth and know the solution”

Its a new week and a new opportunity, the choices we make today or this week have the power to change the course of our destiny. As much as possible. try to make the right choice. I leave you with Sammy Davis quote below;
