Storms are a part of life and the world we live in, some storms we pray against, some we pray through while for other storms we pray around it. At the end we may not know how we made it through the storms but one sure thing at the end is that the person who walked out of the storm is not always the same person that walked in. A stronger, better, bolder and more matured person is what the storm usually produce, but this however is determined by what you see, a challenge or an opportunity. There are always good and vital lessons learnt at the end of the encounter.

During those turbulent times, you have the opportunity to reflect , re-evaluate and re-strategise on many things. It is not the time to set up pity parties or cover your head in wailing and weeping but the time to take bold steps. Keep this in mind when going through turbulence
- It could be worse
- It will get better and for you to make it to the other side you need to keep your mind in good condition (positive attitude and right mind set)
Few things to do and assure yourself of during these period
- Surround yourself with people with the right mind set (Optimists not pessimists)
- Assure yourself that it will surely pass and you will make it through
- You can do it, you are strong and bold to pull through it.
- Pray, Praise and wait. The God factor is the only assurance of getting out stronger
Like the Eagle, we should not run away from the storm but instead we need to develop strategies to soar above the storm, sometimes all we need to do is bow our heads, pray and weather the storm. Are you going through some forms of storms in your life right now and you are at the verge of giving up, keep holding on because the storm does not last forever, it’s only for a while and it will pass, for behind every thick cloud there is a sun to shine on you. Be determined to make it through because you are worth the sacrifice and robbers don’t attack an empty house but one loaded with fortune. The storm is an indication that there is a hidden treasure in you.
I have learnt quite a lot going through different storms in my life, those lessons have molded me into who I am today (a stronger, better, more patient and more matured person). Many good things have also come of my wilderness experience too, one of which is this blog site, my social re-engineering (that is a story for another day LOL), business ideas and many more and each time I looked back, I always thank God for the storm. For without those storms I will be too comfortable in my comfort zone and will not be doing what am doing today. In my next write up Standing Strong in the storm I will be sharing some of my experiences on how I made it through the storm.
Remember this: You can’t calm the storm only God can, so don’t even try to but you can calm yourself and the storm will pass.
